Day 22

A few big changes, namely:

  • Tanks, with rotating turrets - experimenting with moving them but it's tricky given they are comprised of 2 objects
  • Destructible buildings - just one building is destructible and I'm current let down by my art skills on the graphics front for this one
  • New Level 4 - featuring the destructible building
  • Planes no longer move when they are outside the current view - meaning spawn positions are more accurate

It's coming to the end of the game jam shortly, not sure what much else I will add in the time, but hopefully it will include at least some of the following:

  • progressive difficulty
  • more levels
  • a proper old school boss
  • patrolling tanks
